Ways to be Healed
God has provided many ways to be healed. All require faith. Maybe you feel like you have no faith. Be encouraged because the scriptures tell us God has given “to each one a measure of faith” (Romans 12: 3). We have faith and we can build it stronger by hearing and reading scriptures and testimonials. Also by praying in the Spirit. Add praise and bold confessions of faith such as “He sent His word and healed me,” and “I will hope in God, I will yet praise Him” (Psalm 42)!
Your body will respond when you speak positive words. Powerful in many aspects, praise is a key part of receiving healing. I praised God for His love, compassion and His healing way before all the pain and other symptoms left.
Understand that you may not experience healing instantly, or the day after you pray, or months after you prayed. That was my case. Remember, faith believes before it sees (Hebrews 11:1). God heals today both instantly and through an ongoing process. The Lepers were “healed as they went” (Luke 17:14).
Ways to Receive Healing
- Knowing and Acting on the word – your own simple faith in God’s promises. (Woman with blood issue)
- The Laying on of Hands: The doctrine of Christ. (Hebrews 6:1, 2; Mark 16:14; James 5:14-16).
- The Prayer of Agreement (Matthew 18:19, 20).
- The Gifts of the Spirit (1Cor 12:9).
- The Healing Anointing (Acts 10:38).
If you abused your body, turn that around and believe God will help you do what you know is right. Take your medicine until your health reports show you no longer need it.
“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. These signs will follow those who believe: They will…place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed” (Mark 16:15,18).
We all know people who obviously have faith in God and His word, yet have not been healed…and sometimes a seeming “no” may be a “not yet.” God knows much more than we about this great mystery.
If you’re suffering, be encouraged. Overwhelmingly the facts show God still heals sickness today.
